The
debate between petrol and diesel has been going on for a long as most
of us can remember. if you've ever gotten into such an argument or
have heard other people start debating pros and cons in front of you,
then you know how heated it can oftentimes get. While discussing
opinions and talking about certain flaws and benefits that one has
but the other doesn't is always interesting, there is a problem that
often comes up.
The
problem in question is certain people's insistence that one is much
better than the other at everything. This is of course absurd as the
different fuel types provide different advantages and disadvantages
depending on what you plan to use them for. My goal then is not to
convince you that the petrol powered generators are in every way
better than their diesel counterparts, but only to mention for which
tasks they would be the better fit because of their special
characteristics.
When looking for a generator petrol is also always the much more affordable option that you can go for. This applies to both the price of the petrol generator itself as well as the fuel that powers it. Of course, this more affordable initial price comes at the cost of higher running fees later on, since the diesel generators are known not to go through their fuel quite so quickly. I should also mention that while there are newer models of diesel generators that remove some more prominent flaws, they also cost a lot more as a result.
As i said before, the petrol generators aren't ideal for every task, and aren't better that the diesel in every regard. However, if you want a economically priced little power supply that can get the job done without causing much of a racket, then petrol is the only choice really.
