1959 – During the postwar period the company noted a production boom. It was then when Isuzu presented the new cab over forward control truck which was recognized as the N series. The same truck model remained popular to this time. Main reason for this is the superior quality and ease of driving and maintenance.

1971 – Isuzu trucks appeared on the American market for the first time.

1999 – By this period almost half of the sake of the company has been taken by General Motors. After several years spent in recession Isuzu focused the production exclusively on diesel machines and commercial vehicles.
